Steam Treated and Bright Finish
HSS Circular Saw Blades can be supplied in various coated finish, including; Bright, Steam-Treated, Flash-Chrome, Titanium Nitride, Titanium Aluminium Nitride, Titanium Carbon Nitride or Chrome Nitride coated design.
Bright Finish circular saw blades do not have any surface treatment and are ideal for cutting non-ferrous metals such as brass and aluminium.
Steam Treated circular saw blades have a Ferric Oxide surface coating for a longer blade life and are mainly used for steel cutting.
Flash Chrome coated circular saw blades have a thin layer of chrome, produced in an electrolytic process which protects the cutting blades against corrosion and pick-up and are generally used for cutting brass and copper.
