Since our last news back in February 2017 regarding the acquisition of a new band saw blade wave machine, sales have taken off and the last quarter has seen our largest growth in sales to date.
The huge success of our Roentgen WaveMaster band saw blades over the past 18 months has been monumental which has meant we’re now increasing staffing levels and investing in new equipment to meet the growing demand on one of our most popular products in the sawing market.
Having an in-house machine gives us a cutting edge over our competitors as the lead times are dramatically reduced from weeks to a few working days.
An explanation of a wave blade;
An indentation is manufactured on the back edge of a band saw blade to create a unique sawing action as seen in the picture below.
This sawing action allows the band saw blade to plunge in to the material and reduce the amount of teeth within the cutting channel.
Our wave machine is the first of its kind in the UK and allows us to manufacture light, medium or heavy waves depending on the customer’s requirement and objectives.
Put us to the test on our Roentgen M42 band saw blades, M51 band saw blades, Carbide tipped band saw blades and coated band saw blades.
